Not too long ago, Sojiro had been tasked with chasing down a messenger and getting whatever package he was delivering. He had done so, although he didn't exactly chase after the man, instead of having laid out a plan that he'd never tell anyone about. Inside of the package was a bunch of information that seemed to be a bunch of random information but over the last few days, Sojiro had spent his time trying to figure out a cipher. He had an idea that he had cracked it, using it on the first piece of information and it seemed to be coordinated on a map but there was really only one way to make sure that he had gotten it right. So, he had decided that he would take a detour and to check out this location. Sojiro had arrived in the location a day before tonight, doing some basic scouting and to find out he had found the right place. Hidden deep in one of the patches of forest along the Kataki Road, there was a decently put together cabin.
From what he had seen, there was about twelve men that were staying in this cabin and taking care of a variety of goods inside. They made sure to keep any blinds closed and to never let the door stay open for too long, so he had never really gotten a good look on what was inside but thanks to the scents in the area, he was able to get a reading on the headcount. So, after spending a night lurking and watching them from afar, Sojiro had plotted his attack. He had changed his attire for something that was a bit out of his style, but it was because he didn't want this to bite him in the ass. Just on the off chance that people were going to get away from this place today, he didn't want whoever the leader was coming after his friends or family. So, instead, he would be dressed from head to toe completely in black. The attire really wasn't all that fancy, he actually looked just like a ninja out of the stories and movies. Which was comical to him, to some degree, but it was also the easiest and cheapest thing for him to get a hold of. On the off chance this eventually became a habit, he'd invest in some actual gear. The only thing that wasn't part of his ninja attire, was a mask that he wore over top of his face, which seemed to be that of a man with stubble on it.
- Sojiro's Mask:
To go along with this attire, Sojiro only had two visible weapons on his body, one of which was the windmill shuriken on the small of his back. The other was a black that was on his back, held like a normal ninja would in a movie, and it was seemingly unremarkable. It was the Kusanagi but it was doubtful that any of these men would be able to tell what it was. Sojiro had his shinobi tools on him but they were in a black pouch on his lower back, underneath his large shuriken, which blended in perfectly with his outfit. As he moved through the trees with ease, his ruby hues would lock onto the Cabin in the Woods from afar and he'd feel a smile touching his lips. There were three men that were currently standing outside of the building, one of them were by the door while the others were on patrol in the area. As they passed underneath the tree Sojiro was in, he let his right hand slip into his pouch and draw out a small purple ball... Letting it drop from his hand.
As the ball would start to drop, Sojiro would jump through the air and towards the cabin with the grace of a prowling beast, landing on the roof silently. His left hand slipped up towards the handle of his weapon, drawing it into the moonlit sky with ease and moving towards the front of the building. Just before the ball of poison would fall onto the men, Sojiro came to the front of the building and would grab onto the gutter with his right hand and swing himself downwards. The poison pellet would collide with the ground and explode, causing the two men to be engulfed by the poison and start coughing heavily. Their body felt wobbly, and their vision would start to blur, causing them to try and run away from the gas. They'd drop their weapons in the process. The man in front of the door only saw Sojiro for a moment, the explosion of smoke to his side having his attention, before he was looking at his own body.
Sojiro landed on the deck of the cabin with grace and ease, the sharp edge of his blade having no problems removing the guard's head from his body. Before the body could hit the ground, Sojiro would grab the body and stab his sword through the head of the man, stopping it from hitting the ground. He let out a soft sigh, relieved up the sharp edge of his weapon treated the man's skull like butter, causing it to hit the ground with a thud, "Shit..." He mumbled to himself before taking a step forward and kicking the head into the distance with ease, pressing himself against the wall with the headless corpse to try and keep himself hidden. There was the sound of shuffling inside, then footsteps getting closer, the sound of several locks opening on the other side of the door. Just as the door had begun to open, Sojiro would let go of the body that he was holding onto and drive the Kusanagi through the door, bringing it through whoever was on the other side. Without a care for who it was, the man would move his hand upwards and then downwards, cleaving the door in half! Of course... The man who was on the other side fall into two cleaved halves, as well, but that wasn't important.
Sojiro would step into a building that seemed like a normal cabin, with only two other men that were inside. The two men were sitting at a table and were seemingly enjoying a game of cards, where they had been waiting for their third-person to return from checking the door. They surely hadn't expected for the man's life to be ended so quickly, nor for a shinobi cloaked in black to enter the building with such an... odd mask. Under normal circumstances, it would be comical to see a person dressed like this but currently, it was almost terrifying. Sojiro moved across the room with ease, throwing his blade forward so that it left his hand and found itself pinning one of the man to his chest from behind, sharp end of the sword coming from his chest. The bestial man would move onto the table with ease, hands grabbing the man's throat who was left... And he'd start to interrogate him about this place....
It didn't last more than a few minutes, Sojiro had figured out all he needed to know about this place. There was a hidden basement that contained a bunch of goods in it, as well as where the rest of the men were located at. The man let out a grunt after finding the secret entrance, opening it and taking what was left of the alcohol upstairs and dropping it down. There was the sound of people grumbling and waking up, but he would drop a lit torch down below before closing the hatch, pulling over most of the furniture so that it couldn't be opened. Making sure to start a fire on the first floor as well, Sojiro would exit the building and exit into the night.
