"When we get Home;"
“I Know we Won’t Be Home at All!!”
Banira was seriously upset!
It was not unusual that the white hare would feel nothing short of anger and rage. She was continuously bitter when it came to dealing with the “realm of men,” or so she called it. The Sage’s right hand was always bitter to no end about what her kind had to put up with when it came to the people of the nations of the Sun and Moon. She would insist that Hikari was a speck in the world that was hardly worth her time. The people within Debon Village were the perfect example with their fighting and their value for their “little arena” as she would say.
“But I have hope.”
A charming smile had come to Hikari Usagi’s face as he would explain to the Hare about why he would put up with the task that day. With the usual scorn in her eye, and a mixture of modesty, she dismissed him to Debon and allowed him to do as he pleased while she waited on the outskirts. Hikari had motioned to the tree with a wave of his hand that was simply returned with a grunt from the Hare who sat perched there watching him leave. His eyes would leave the blank sight of her behind as he stepped into Debon Village that day.
Stories had been floating around about Debon as of late as they desired a lot of construction to be done. This was perfect for a rabbit! Hikari still recalled the labor that he and his sisters had gone through for the Moon Village, constructing their buildings and manors. Even as the village’s officials spoke to him, asking if someone like him could handle it, he could only show that cocky and confident smile upon his face. His misty blue eyes, blind as they were to give an impression of feebleness, were actually the best show of face for him.
As they explained the task, there was a bite of Hikari’s flesh and a slap of his palm against the terrain. The puff of smoke that radiated from the ground had unleashed a formation of four rabbits that had been surrounding him in a triangulated position. Three of them behind him and the fourth in front as the small rodent would reach, pressing its small little arm along the bridge of its nose adjusting small spectacles, and then opening its little maw up to speak.
On cue, the three colorful rabbits behind Hikari would turn their nose to the soil and begin to rake at the dirt quickly. The ground beneath them breaks as they would plow within the soil deeper until finally they would become one with the soil as the bulge of the ground would sink into nothingness. The final rabbit creature would look over her little shoulder to Hikari with a smile on her face. “Little bunny! You know what to do!” She would hint towards the lilac-haired rabbit. It was not until he would bob his head in compliance, watching as the rabbit would take its turn digging into the soil as it would carefully begin to sink into the soil. Afterwards, Hikari would begin to show a certain set of symbols with his hand movements.
Before the villagers could begin to ask what was going on, they were met with a sudden tremble. The Earth beneath their feet rumbled and quaked as the terrain began to shift. Dirt and soil moved in blocks as they would begin to shape the ruined pits. A fresh slab of Earth was made with churning and twisting of the soil. Not long afterwards, the dirt would finally rise from below as it became evenly layered. The soil was packed tightly making a solid ascended block of dirt like that or a stage. Hikari stood at the epicenter of the stage. A hint of glamour as the Earth seemed to be moving to his will while he would shape certain symbols with his hands. All the while, he could hear the voices of the villagers in disbelief as they clapped.
There was no end to the show a Usagi could put on after all.
